My lists are not updating on another device

Your latest changes remain safe on the device where you made them, even while offline.

  1. Confirm both devices use the same Apple Account for iCloud.
  2. In Settings, confirm iCloud Drive is on and PackOnce may use iCloud.
  3. Open PackOnce on both devices briefly on a reliable connection.
  4. Make a small edit, such as renaming an item, then check again.

Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step.

What changes in version 1.0.8?

Version 1.0.8 introduces personalized onboarding followed by a required subscription: $4.99/month or $49/year in the U.S., with no introductory free trial. Both plans unlock the same packing features. The App Store shows your localized price before purchase.

Earlier versions may still show the previous free-trip and lifetime offer. These details describe version 1.0.8 and later, which may not yet be available in every storefront. Previous verified lifetime purchases keep access without a subscription.

How do I restore my purchase?

Choose Restore at the top of the subscription screen, or Restore purchases in Settings when you have access. Use the Apple Account with your active subscription or previous lifetime purchase. Eligible shared lifetime purchases remain supported.

If a purchase is pending, Apple is still confirming it. Your prepared setup stays saved, and PackOnce unlocks after approval. For billing issues, visit Apple Support.

Why am I seeing the subscription screen?

In version 1.0.8 and later, an active subscription or verified previous lifetime purchase is required to open the packing workspace. If access expires or is revoked, your saved content is retained. Renew or restore eligible access to use it again. Older versions used a different free allowance.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Open your App Store subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Canceling keeps access active until the end of the paid period and does not delete your saved lists. Apple handles billing and refund requests.

Why did a checked item stay in place?

Checking an item changes only its packed state. PackOnce changes order only when you explicitly reorder a list, so you never lose your place.

Can I undo a deleted checklist item?

Choose Undo in the message at the bottom of the screen. Undo remains available for five seconds. If the message has gone away, add the item again in its section.

How does sharing work?

Open a trip and choose Share. You can send the entire list or only unpacked items. PackOnce creates a plain-text copy and opens Apple's share sheet; it does not create a live shared list.
